Craig and Leah are a couple that grew up only a few miles from each other, but thanks to boldly wearing Colts gear in Cowboy territory, fate led them to meet in Texas. Leah had all but given up on finding “the one” but when after five months, Craig agreed to move to Texas for her, she knew he was the real deal.

Craig and Leah have family ties in Indianapolis and Warsaw, so they decided to get married halfway between at the recently restored historic Charley Creek Inn in Wabash. The wedding had a beautiful vintage fall theme and the hotel was a perfect place for that cohesive feel.

Craig and Leah decided to see each other before the ceremony. We didn’t have a private space for them to do their first look, so… we made one! We moved some furniture in the bridal suite. It just occurred to me, that I didn’t help return the furniture to the right places. Apologies to the person who did. (oops!)

The wedding day was a little chilly and windy. I’m really grateful to the wedding party for braving slightly uncomfortable weather for photos with these AMAZING brightly colored leaves.

Leah’s nieces and nephew are so sweet, cute, and funny! Get a load of the cheeks on the littlest!

Leah’s brother-in-law, Nolan, was ordained to be able to officiate the ceremony for the couple.

There was a little bit of downtime between the ceremony and reception and the couple invited their closest friends to join them for a trolley ride to the Charley Creek Gardens.

Lorian and Todd got a little dramatic with their entrance and as a result, Lorian’s bouquet is… no longer with us.

I typically carve out a little time at each wedding for sunset photos. On this particular day it was very cloudy, so I knew we wouldn’t get a really dramatic colorful sky. Instead, we waited until after the sun was down and did some night shots instead. The staff at Charley Creek graciously allowed us to go up on the roof for some cool shots of the downtown right after dark.

One of the highlights of the day was definitely the toasts. They were funny, sweet, personal, told all the couple’s secrets, and really showed how deeply loved Craig and Leah are.

Leah’s grandparents handily won the anniversary dance and their dancing was just about the cutest thing ever!
