Last Fall, things got so intense with my schedule toward the end of the season, that there were several engagements and one wedding that I never got around to sharing on my blog. Now, with the COV-19 quarantine, I have a little more time on my hands, so I’m going to be using that time to go back and share some of what I was up to in the Fall.

Nick and Alexa had a very small wedding with only family and very close friends. They got married at Culver Academy in the Chapel and had a sweet reception at Sage Meadows on the opposite side of Lake Maxinkukee.

The couple opted to forgo a wedding party, but did include their precious dogs in their wedding.

As the couple exited the chapel, guests threw dried lavender, filling the air with a beautiful scent!

The reception took place at Sage Meadows, one of the two retail locations for Flea Market Chic. The store can be rented as an event space and is perfect for parties or small weddings. Very little decoration was needed by the couple because the store is full of such pretty things already!

The couple enjoyed cocktail hour and appetizers with their guests, before we stepped outside for some sunset photos.

At the end of the night, it was softly raining outside and the couple trusted me to take a few photos of them in the rain. What a spectacular end to a beautiful day!
