Brock and Ashley are two Kentucky natives who were set up by family and friends. His mom and her former boss thought Brock and Ashley would make a good match, and… they were right! She’s a nurse and he’s a golf pro, and Ashley happily transplanted to Indiana to be closer to Brock. Things have worked out beautifully! The couple will be getting married this coming March, during the off-season for golf. This couple is the epitome of a lot of Southern stereotypes: hospitable, hard working, genuine, soft spoken, funny, and laid back. An evening with them was an evening of easily making new friends.

The couple chose to have their engagement photos taken in Winona Lake because this is one of their favorite local date spots. They enjoy taking their dog for walks in the Village, grabbing dinner at the Garden, Cerulean, or the Boathouse, and enjoying the beauty of the lake. It’s such a picturesque location, that I understand why they like to go there frequently. You’ll see for yourself, keep scrolling!

 

Ashley’s late grandmother made quilts for each of her granddaughters. Ashley brought hers to the shoot to personalize the images. I really love this sentimental touch.
