To say that I’m a bit behind on blogging would be a massive understatement. This Fall was so chaotic and busy for me that now, three months later, I’m finally digging my way out from under all the weddings, commercial shoots, and other commitments and am getting back into the swing of blogging.

I wanted to start the great catch up with an engagement session from this Fall with Tyler and Bethany. These best friends, dog lovers, and fitness enthusiasts invited me to what is essentially their backyard, and the location of Tyler’s proposal, to take engagement photos for them. I was able to get a look at the spot where they will be getting married this Summer as well. I had a great time with this couple. Their love of being outdoors with their dogs is so much like the relationship that I have with my husband. Spending time with them was relaxed and easy… well, except for when one of the dogs got spooked by gunshots and ran back to the house. The rest of the evening was relaxed though.

The night was so unique because of the quickly changing light. The sky changed colors depending on the time and the direction you looked. It was SO beautiful! Take a look for yourself at this beautiful couple in a beautiful setting.

Congratulations, Tyler and Bethany! Let’s do this again this Summer, but with more people. 🙂 I can’t wait!!
