Eamon & Jenna: Culver Indiana Woodcraft Camp Wedding

Oh my goodness! I know I’m not supposed to have favorites, but… Eamon & Jenna are definitely one of my favorite couples of all time. I love these two! Their love, energy, and enthusiasm for life are so contagious!

This couple met on Tinder. (See? It CAN be done!) They really hit it off and quickly formed a deeply bonded relationship revolving around cats, boating, friends, and fun. Eamon proposed to Jenna in Culver Indiana with her friends and family nearby able to spy on the surprise. Jenna knew it was coming, because she accidentally opened a bill for her ring that came in the mail. However, she was still very surprised and that early knowledge didn’t dampen her excitement one bit.

When the wedding day arrived, Jenna’s excitement was equally undimable. Unforecasted rain, for example, didn’t faze her one bit! The depth of Eamon and Jenna’s friendships and love was so obvious in how much support they had at their wedding. So many details, from the size of their wedding party, the size of their guest list – despite being a destination wedding, the guests that were willing to sit in the rain for their ceremony, everything about their day just felt so… friendly!

I think it’d be easier to show you rather than tell you about Eamon and Jenna’s wedding, but before I do that, I want to thank a few of the people who helped make this day so special for the couple…

You might notice a bottle of Fireball in the foreground with a GoPro attached. All day long, that bottle (well, probably a couple of bottles) was passed around and faces were filmed as guests took shots. Such a funny and hilarious idea. I love it!!

Before Eamon and Jenna saw each other, they read letters that they had written to each other. These photos and the following First Look give me all the feels.

David and I started playing around at this wedding with in-camera double exposures. This image below is two photos, one obviously of the couple, and the other of Jenna’s bouquet. I love it!

If any couple was ever made for a toothpaste commercial, it’s this one!!

If you look closely at this image of Jenna walking down the aisle, you’ll see that it started to sprinkle. The rain was never really much more than a light mist, and I honestly think it added a romantic ambiance.

Shout out to Tinder for making this day possible!

I wish you all could have heard the speeches and toasts at this wedding, because they were amazing. Heartfelt, funny, touching… I cried, my lighting assistant cried… and if we, who don’t know the couple very well, felt that way… I can’t imagine how the family and close friends felt. They were SO good!!

Once the dance floor opened, I stole the couple away for a few sunset photos. Because it was a cloudy day, we didn’t have a colorful sunset, but this sky full of blue clouds was perfect.

Congratulations, Eamon and Jenna! Being part of your day was a priviledge. I really loved just being near the two of you.
Eamon, do you realize you stole two or three kisses from Jenna during the ceremony before the official kiss? That’s adorable love, man. You couldn’t help yourself!
Jenna, do you realize that you had a smile all the way across your face the entire day? I mean, you briefly cried reading the letter, but otherwise… all smiles! That’s joy. Real, deep, beautiful joy!
You two are so special and I’m so happy that you found each other. Thank you so much for choosing me to document your wedding. It was an honor.
