Matt and Bella didn’t get their Plan A wedding, or even their Plan B wedding. Covid related circumstances changed their date multiple times. It even changed their location. To be honest though, I can’t imagine a more perfect location for their wedding than the one they ended up using, because Matt and Bella met and fell in love as teenagers hanging out at Hoffman Lake Camp. It makes perfect sense that they would get married at the same place.

The couple got married in a beautiful and intimate setting on a peninsula on the back pond. Bella’s uncle Mark officiated and made the ceremony so personal for them. Bella’s sister, Julia, missed her own high school graduation ceremony in order to stand as the maid of honor with her sister. Julia tried to play it cool, but I personally think that was such a sweet sacrifice on her part. Then, after a meaningful ceremony, the couple partied it up with their closest friends and family. Specifically, Bella’s coworkers took it upon themselves to make sure everybody was having fun. To top it all off… At the end of the night, the couple exited through a sparkler tunnel.

I’m really happy for Matt and Bella. I met them when they were seniors in high school, when I shot Matt’s Senior Pics. It’s been really cool to see how much their lives have changed since then, but how much has also stayed constant. Their love has stayed consistent for a long time and I’m confident that trajectory will continue for many many years to come.
