Nate & Danielle met through friends and started dating in March 2018. They got married last weekend on a gorgeous June day at a friend’s house. The couple made everything simple and focused on keeping things informal in order to allow the wedding to be as low-stress as possible. I have always been a big fan of creating a wedding celebration that works for YOU. I really like that Nate and Danielle opted to skip out on things like a wedding party, formal reception introductions, tosses, and all of the other things that didn’t resonate with them. A modern wedding celebration can be infinitely personalized. This one was especially unique and customized. It was beautiful!

There are a few people in particular who really help to make this wedding day awesome for the couple. All of the professionals that the couple chose did a great job! I’ll share the full list below, but I wanted to give a special highlight shoutout to three of them. Not to make this confusing, but there were two women named Carrie who helped Danielle with her wedding look. One made the dress and the other did Danielle’s hair and makeup. Danielle is 6’4″, so dress shopping has been a hassle for her since middle school. Danielle opted to have a friend make a dress for her, and it turned out beautifully. Carrie Schneider did an amazing job on the dress! Amazing!! The second Carrie, Carrie Onweller, did both Danielle’s hair and makeup. I especially loved what she did to Danielle’s hair. It looked really effortless and kept Danielle’s very long hair contained for a windy and hot day. It was fun to meet her and cool to watch her work. The third pro that I really enjoyed was the DJ, Conner, who did a fantastic job. Conner is learning the ropes of being a DJ from his father. If it wasn’t for his young appearance, I would have thought he’d been a DJ for many years. He’s a natural and he absolutely crushed it!
