Zach and Kathleen met online like most couples do anymore. They dated for about a year and a half before they decided they’d like it to be forever. Last Saturday, they stood in front of their precious inner circle and made promises to always be together. The couple was married in the historic Spohn Ballroom in downtown Goshen, Indiana. The venue is lovely with broad views of the town, gorgeous original millwork, and so much vintage charm. It was an amazing backdrop for these nuptials.

Leading up to the day, the forecast was calling for rain. Almost certain rain. But when the day came, the skies were clear and nothing fell on Goshen. A couple of days after the wedding, I learned that it stormed furiously and hail pummeled several small towns just a few miles south of where the wedding was held, and I’m so thankful for the couple’s sake that they didn’t have to contend with weather like that. You might call it luck, but I know the couple would insist that someone very powerful was looking out for them.
