I first met Alysha about seven or eight years ago when she was a college student and we really hit it off. Together we have lead groups at church, planned many events together, and are known as partners in crime who conspire to create something called “Family Fun Night” at our church, Branches. I love her spark and sense of humor, her strong, soaring, and beautiful singing voice, her love of dogs and house plants, and her dedication to being an effective teacher. Since Alysha met Alex, I have grown to really appreciate him. He is funny, witty, and kind. He uses his words sparingly and carefully. He is the kind of person who always shows up for his friends, even if it means an inconveniently long drive to do so.

Together Alex & Alysha love good food, their dog Blitz, board games, and relaxation. They not only love to chill, but they are chill people. No drama. When Alysha asked me to shoot their wedding, I was so excited! I knew that she and Alex would plan a chill, drama-free, comfortable wedding. And they did! Their wedding reflected their values and hobbies, from the deeply spiritual ceremony, right down to the yard games, house plants, and even serving cookies instead of cake because cookies are their favorite dessert.

Alex and Alysha’s wedding day was perfect! It was smooth, organized, and easy.

Congratualtions, Alex & Alysha! I love you guys! I had so much fun being part of your wedding celebration and it was an honor to capture these memories for you. Thanks so much for choosing me. I can’t wait to see where married life takes you. I know it’s going to be up, and up, and up!
